A personal message from the newly-elected Xavier University Junior Marketing Association (XU JMA) officers for the school year 2014-2015.

Hello, Xavier U Marketers!
Today marks the start of a new fun year for us Marketetistas! Seminars/trainings, gatherings, competitions and marketing clashes will come your way! Me, along with the JMA executive board and those who will choose to rise up to the challenge of being a student leader, have a lot in store for you guys. JMA will continue to be a venue for every marketing student to develop his/her skills as well as build networks. JMA will continue to produce projects that will hone the students of today to become effective leaders of tomorrow. Most importantly, JMA will never cease to be the home for every marketing student and every other student who has a heart for marketing.
To all marketing students, 4th year and incoming 3rd year: Marketing, as a profession and passion, is something one can take pride on. Its fun and it pushes one to be creative and unique. Its also challenging which let's you go out of your comfort zone and be bigger than who you are today. People need to realize this and there is no better way to say this but through us, Xavier U Marketers, living it out. So take part in this crusade. Also, TAKE PART IN MAKING YOUR COLLEGE YEARS EXCITING AND FUN. AMDG xxx

JMA is truly a booming organization. Through the years, it's growth and influence has only been getting better and wider.

This year, we inspire and take action in intensifying JMAs potential and continue its excellence. As the Executive Vice President, although I do not have a specific department, I'm excited to intensify this year in JMA with each Marketista. Through improving the organizations transparency, strengthen JMA through a stable constitution and nurturing the relationship of JMA and it's constituents, JMA will grow together with each Marketista. JMA is more than an org, it is a home nurtured with love.

JMA has not been driven by the vision of success, but out of love always. This is what I've observed as a volunteer in the previous year. If you love marketing, JMA will inspire you more and will challenge you on how to spread the beauty of marketing beyond the classroom because such passion cannot be contained in just studying and getting good grades.

We are all excited to intensify the love and passion for marketing with you. Let your love for marketing inspire you and plant it to more people, beyond the classroom and XU

my term as VP for Budget and Finance ends but my term as XU-JMA's Executive Secretary begins from Activating Innovative Marketers to JMA intense!

It is with great honor to be part of the executive committee and serve JMA and its members this school year. And on that note, I would like to express my gratitude for the support and trust that you gave in me as the newly elected Vice President for Academic Affairs. Together with the team, we will strive to bring you more inspiring and stimulating events this year. An awesome and intense JMA experience is our goal for each student and so I encourage each and everyone to become immersed and to actively engage into different JMA activities. My 1 year of service in JMA was truly challenging but never boring! It has equipped me with skills I never thought I could have, interpersonal, creativity and all that we need in this competitive ground.

This chance of a lifetime, the chance to be able to serve my fellow constituents is truly a blessing. It has exposed me to different arenas and made me see a glimpse of what happens in the real world.

From being a former Events Department Staff before and leveled up as the head of our own department, I could not thank enough the people who shaped and molded me to develop my competency, from our moderator, my former head in the Events Department, the Executive Board and all the student leaders who were really promising for their volunteerism.

So this time, let us all be in involved in attaining what the JMA Events Department wants you to experience. Let us break the boundaries and make this year an unforgettable one! Together let's make this year, festive, intense and fun! I know you want this! We'll be expecting from you!

Becoming the Vice President for Creatives is a great opportunity to share my passion for the arts. This opportunity is also a chance for me to ignite other’s creativity through visual artistry. This notion sprung from the belief that each of us, marketing students, have that spirit of creativity. Some are not yet ready to reveal it – maybe because they’re being conquered by their fear – Some are already showing it, but are still not recognized.

Together with my team, we will help you bring out that shine inside you. Think of this as a treasure hunt. We are the treasure hunters who will never stop searching and digging out for our hidden treasure: you. You, who are creative, should believe in what you can do to yourselves, to JMA, and to the world.

Together as one, and as a family, let’s make JMA and the world more colorful!

Last school year, I’ve been serving the school already in CSG – Office of Communications. I’ve been a staff in the XU – JMA under Events Department. I was active in JMA since I find it a very important organization because I know that it can help me improve my skills. And now, It’s time to go out of my comfort zone, I am now a Vice President in my own department, I know that this will be not easy and there will be problems and risks, but I will do my best to serve this organization with the help of my appointed people, the officers and our moderator. This will be a tough year for me, but I can do this, especially when God is with me. So thank you for voting me and God bless this organization.
